BT or OOC?

If I’m a new feral and often botch BT am I better off with omen? I use BT well in my opener but often get lost when things get hectic.

Only one way to improve your BT skills, and running from it isn’t the way

But as a new feral, until you get the feel for it, I do recommend MoC

BT is only good if you’re able to play it. If you can’t, just play OoC.

You can also sim the dps difference on raidbots. When I did it BT was like … 100 dps increase on ST? So it’s not even a talent that would make or break or damage. I think the last row is pretty even with each other at the moment.

Im not a fan of the new BT so i no longer use it. Luckily for me the other talents are pretty close if not better in my sims. It USED to be the go to talent in BFA and i much prefered it back then

Omen is performing much better for me in AOE and not much worse at all in single target.

So I’m sticking with omen.

Moment people! Moment of clarity! Not omen :stuck_out_tongue:

Feral is hard to learn.

I absolutely hate that all/most of the guides give you the optimal raiding build, but not a progression of training wheels to work through on your way there.

I would go with the passives and then work in the actives slowly.

1 - Learn how to keep up your bleeds, and when to NOT use bleeds, including sabertooth refreshing and multidotting. Also develop your muscle memory on how to use your interrupts and to cycle through them.

2 - Learn how to keep up an extra spinning plate with savage roar or bloodtalons. (probably not savage roar right now, but I mean its there so why not learn it)

3 - Learn to manage your energy and work on more group activities like throwing that predatory swiftness heal on the tank (use a focus macro), dispelling enrages, and even dispelling poisons/curses and applying our CC. All of this while spinning an extra plate and keeping up the bleeds.

Omg ty! lol Omen of Clarity is a passive that Feral has. Moment of clarity is the talent that improves Omen of Clarity.

Running sims on my toon with ilvl 179 comparing all the talents:
With a 5 minute patchwork fight, no buffs there’s a sub 30 dps difference between BT and the other two talents.

For same sim only all buffs applied that can be applied, BT is about 30 dps above MoC which in turn is about 30 dps above FF.

So based off of that really unless you’re doing like Mythic level raiding bleeding edge it seems that you can pick anything without too much difference.

Now this may and probably will change as we gain ilevel and additional secondary stats. The majority of our damage comes from our Bite which BT buffs so likely it will become mandatory and I expect there to be a widening gap between BT and the other two.

do the sims include conduits?
