Brutal prey quest bugged(?)

Doing the Maruuk Centaur daily in Forbidden Reach to kill 5 elites. “Hunt down elite creatures across the Forbidden Reach. 0/5 Elite creatures slain in Forbidden Reach”

I killed two rare elites, that didn’t count.

I went up to the primal storm and killed an elite there, that didn’t count.

The quest marker covers the ENTIRE map, but none of these elites count.

Am I missing something here or is this a bug? I’m not in a raid group or anything I’m all by myself

Nevermind Blizzard didn’t care and neither does anybody else.

I figured it out on my own.
