Trying to find some concrete lore or news around the Brotherhood of the Light. Are they still in a small entity outside the Argent Crusade or were they absorbed by another Light based order and or killed off at some point in the time line?
Saw a youtube video where one person claimed they were “Tame” in comparison to the Scarlet Crusade. Unsure where this guy got his information but, it just seems far fetched. Though any news, updates or feed back would be great. Thanks!
I don’t recall any relatively recent mention of the Brotherhood of the Light. I remember seeing some of their members in the reformed Silver Hand during Legion, and given their connection to the Argent Crusade, and lacking anything more concrete, I suppose it might be safe to assume they were either absorbed into the Silver Hand or still perhaps operate more or less as they always have. Either way, they’re in the lore hole.
Supposedly they operate on a different code of ethics than the rest of the Crusade, more similar to that of the Scarlets but lacking their blind zeal.

Pretty much from what I have already read before hand and what I see right now is the Brotherhood is pretty much the middle ground or grey area between the Scarlet and the Argent Crusade.
I’ve always found

Rather confusing as that line in Vanilla. The Scarlet Crusade controls 70% of Lordaeron, the Argent Dawn holds Light Hope where the crusade could have sent 6 people to just finish them off and the Forsaken hold two towns.
And that line ‘Lack of leadership’ The Crusade still had all its leadership until around Wotlk and post Naxx where that line comes from.
And consider they blindly attack Tyrs Hand without hesitation or mercy I can remove ‘not blindly zealouts/bloodthirty’ from their list. So I don’t understand what they are

Much like a previous post, these guys have that not been the lore spot light for sometime. Yes, they made an appearance when the player character recaptures Tyr’s Hand from the Risen and very briefly at the funeral of Tiron Fordring. I think if anything happened could be fandom or if blizz released anything stating what they have been doing these past few years.
What you got in game is the sum total of the lore that exists.
If you aren’t torturing and murdering the innocent on a regular basis, then I guess you would be considered “tame” by Scarlet standards. or to people who get off on torturing and killing the innocent.
The latter do exist… in fact we elected at least one as President of this country.
