"Bros. Before Ho Ho Ho's" needs to be changed

Anyone want to bet we got ourselves a G.I.R.L. on a Female DK making a I’m offended bait thread.

THis so reminds me of a certain Void Elf Hunter and a Orc Hunter both with names starting with T that were constantly spamming LGBT threads .

If you can prove the purpose of the title is to debase and offend I would support the argument.

Moving forward, perhaps Blizzard will rethink their naming strategy.
Personally I hope not, i find amusement in the many pop culture references and have never been actually insulted by anything so far.

But thats just me

All jokes aside this would cause more damage to the company only to let their competitors mock them and flex at the same time. Not a wise choice dude regardless of satire.

I’m offended that you assumed the achievement name offended me just because I’m a woman.

Now what?

I get that this is a troll, but yes actually there are areas in our world where men are discriminated against constantly.

That poor girl. Her message wasn’t so bad but unfortunately she was a living meme drama queen about it.

But not once have I mentioned being offended. In fact, I made it clear in my original post on this thread I was not only not offended, I think it is funny. Nor have I said anything about other people, female or male, being offended by this type of humour.

I am talking about how acceptance of humour that demeans women teaches woman (and now that I think about it, men) that is is acceptable to demean woman when demeaning woman is not something that should be taught in any instance, including humour.

I am not talking about censorship (I still think Blizzard should have left Garrosh called Sylvanas an ‘itch’ in), I am talking about Blizzard freely choosing to rename a quest because the title they are presently using is demeaning to women.

No. The advice is actually good: “You put lifelong friendships before the pursuit of romance.” I’m fairly sure many people of all genders have horror stories about the crazy ex who tried to cut them off from their friends in order to keep them isolated.

Tis why the feminine version is “sisters before misters.”

I don’t know about removing but just rename it. It’s literally a nonissue. People defending it loose like nothing if it’s changed.

Who cares rename it and move on. Jokes go out of style all the time not a big deal.

Only a full on 4 paragraph Disney+ disclaimer that pops up in Khadgar’s voice will do.

The loss of your or any woman’s or anyone else perceived dignity over humor does not concern me one bit. It has no more reason to be respected than the words “I am offended.” If you think this simple joke has in any way attacked your dignity that is on you or the person who feels that way. It in no way is a reason to censor. I don’t care how you word it. What you are calling for is censorship. It really does not matter if Blizzard chooses to do it itself or are forced into from pressure thanks to people like yourself.
