When you’re still and you press your jump button the broom flips. I have no idea if this is new or not, but I’ve been riding this thing for more than a week and just found out. Thought I’d pass on the knowledge.

You don’t have to jump for it - try /mountspecial. It’s new this year!

the broom one is new, but if you didnt know all mounts have this feature. it only activates if you dont have flying yet though.
but as mute said you can type /mountspecial to do it after you obtain flying.

I usually do, but I’ve been in flying territory where when I hit the jump button it just flies. I didn’t know about the special macro. But I hit jump in a battleground and I finally saw it.
/mountspecial is one of the macros I have for every character. My “fun” button!
So for doing so well the end of last school year, I let my son pick anything he wanted of the Game Shop. He chose Squeakers, the Trickster. It has the best Disney style levitate and twirl mountspecial animation!
It is very cool. I wish we got to keep the broom. It is by far the best mount in the game.
This mount needs to go into our mount collection to use anytime we want. There is no good reason to not make this happen. Blizz. Yo.

They don’t because it is instant cast and would take away from druids.
