Anyone watched the latest season of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory? Because it’s got me feeling broken hearted.
Brooklynn was presumed dead, but was revealed to be alive at the end of the first season. And she continued making her friends believe that she’s dead, claiming that it’s “safer” for them. She should realise how wrong she was, as these guys have faced far worse creatures than Soyona Santos’ Atrociraptors.
And when Ben, Darius, Sammy, Yaz and Kenji finally discover that she isn’t dead, they become relieved, and later betrayed.
Brooklynn was a bad girlfriend to Kenji (from what I’ve heard, which is now confirmed), she kept secrets from her friends, she lied to them, and she sold her soul for the sake of “going undercover” and exposing this dinosaur trafficking operation.
She should’ve asked her friends for help, but she didn’t.
I’m feeling what the friends are feeling. Being stabbed in the heart is so much more painful than losing your hand to an Allosaurus.
I reckon, through the course of season three, the Nublar Five (which is what they are as of now) will vote to kick Brooklynn out of the gang.
Brooklynn will realise that she made a mistake doing this job by herself, try to contact her friends, and they don’t respond, leaving her devastated, guilty, regretful and tearful. She’ll fall to her knees and cry because she thinks her friends hate her.
And when she does reunite with them, she apologises, admits her faults and that she should’ve accepted their help. And then they finally forgive her.
This is really smart writing on my or anyone else’s part. It should be where the show’s writers are going.
