1600 kills on this. 2000 stuck on it. I’d say you’re a few weeks out from a non insignificant amount of those players packing it up for the expansion. I can’t blame em. “My WA isn’t working” is something that immediately makes me want to quit this disaster of a raid mode. Except everyone’s already quit doing the other mode of endgame progression (M+) because it too launched in a terrible mess of non-fun.
Stop. Making. Weakaura. Bosses. Stop it.
Now we’ve gotta tell our raiders that we’re going to be extending for this disaster, and they also need to clear multiple raid modes per week for Finery (while also doing keys to keep up with crests). What an absolute disaster of a tier. We should just start recruiting people who aren’t employed by anyone so they can play the game all day.

It’s a combination of the weakaura quasi-requirement (is it necessary? no, but good luck doing it consistently without it), and the raid comp requirement.
No idea how they fix the first part, but for the second they might have to make a change to the parasites where they spawn or launch underneath the boss prior to getting their fixate on. Or reduce their health drastically, i dont know.

Really the only thing they can do is further extend the cast time of the Worm’s to make interrupts much more manageable and not require as extensive WA marker/interrupt setup.
I’m not sure about the egg breaks. They can’t extend the timer on the break, as that would shift the whole fight sequence, as we saw when they extended it to 8 seconds. But they could certainly reduce the damage caused to the players doing the breaks. Or they can reduce the damage the swirls do since I imagine a lot of guilds are wiping from egg-break players dying to swirls that go off sub 2 seconds before the break happens (again caused by them extending the egg break timer).
Outside of that, they could just nerf the health of everything, which would definitely help with the spiders eating the tanks alive and not needing a fourth interrupt on the worms if they die faster.
It’s clear they fully intend this to be a wall until at least HoF closes, considering they’re launching nerfs at Queen prior to the boss that 2500ish guilds are stuck on now.
I think it’s going to be a mistake, we’re having players dropping like flies weekly even though we’re probably going to kill this week or next. This was a masterclass in terrible design and nerf timing.
Out of curiosity what are guilds now looking at in terms of kill times / add set numbers? Are you still playing the whole final phase or just the first set?
Guilds still progging it are probably popping the closest three egg packs in the first set and then burning, maybe popping a single egg on the second break if truly necessary. You likely don’t want to be having to do more than that.
Take a book from mythic Anduin and just rip out the mythic double-debuff mechanic for the eggs IMO.
