This is going away after the event is over. Everyone will be shifted back to retail with crap gear. So don’t waste your time in chasing Ilvl.

I honestly got a little demoralized after 10k bronze. I definitely thought it was going to be a faster grind.

I’m glad I ahve a few of the rare ones but that is A LOT.

I’d like to see the numbers on the collections specific to Remix; still obtainable items have an astronomic price to them comparative to the event-specific ones.

Gear math is wrong. Not all items cost 4.5k per level. Bracers, for example, are in the 2k range and some other pieces are in the 3k range.

Pretty sure you probably shouldn’t be spending bronze on quest gear that you get from just playing the game…

True. You should not upgrade any gear that isn’t the maxed gear at level 70, but upgrading the gear beyond the max drop gear at 70 offers a lot of power to make everything easier.

At level 70, it doesn’t quite matter. The max gear you can get is 346 and you should max it until you get a better piece (blue or epic) since the price to upgrade it is going to be really cheap.

This. I feel like the new unique stuff is the important stuff. And even amongst the stuff that is available in retail, there’s a lot of frivolous things. Like… do you really want all of the world drop transmogs? Heck, all the raid drop transmogs are going to get a heck of a lot easier to get once Warbands hits. And anyone who has managed to get even just one rare mount to drop saves a lot of bronze there.

Basically, just focus on what is exclusive in the event. Everything else is just a bonus. And if you absolutely must have everything, chances are you’re probably willing to do some MoP stuff in retail, too.

No… I mean buying the quest gear mogs. Or the toys as quest rewards.

Trying to list the full price of bronze is needed to buy everything is disingenuous when a lot of it is stuff you should either already have if you played MoP or will get from just leveling.

I’ve learned A LOT of new transmogs while completing content out in ReMoP. I have to wonder if its random old stuff I just didn’t know, or I’m saving bronze by collecting stuff I was going to have to buy.

I guess the real question is, can we collect some of the vendor sets for free by looting them in ReMoP.

All of this can be farmed in retail. And right now, it can be farmed daily in raids.

30 of the cheapest are the Remix only ones. Those are a little over 103k total. And don’t even look at the Alani mount. You can buy it off the AH.

Pretty sure these can be farmed in retail, as well.

There’s 5 sets that are cosmetic only for this event. Most of those can literally be bought for gold on vendors in retail.

Bingo. I already bought 5 transmogs and I’ll need 140k for the rest of the stuff I want. I’ve got 50k so far, I’m not yet 70 and I’ve got three and a half zones to finish, plus I haven’t touched the dailies.

There’s no need to get it all. Over half of it you can farm daily right now in retail. Open world sets can be bought for gold on vendors in retail. The most expensive mount is buyable on the AH, the rare drop ones can be farmed daily right now, as well.

So there’s no reason to attempt to spend all of that.

Go farm the rare drops daily in retail right now, don’t even look at the 50,000 bronze mount, because Alani’s mount is on the AH. The ones that are exclusive to the event total up to around 104k.

Another thing I found out is that the class ensembles are free if you do the achievement on the class. I completed the landfall campaign last night and received the evoker class Ensemble for free.

Did it include the weapons? Also: anyone can buy all of the ensembles and learn them for different classes.

No, the weapons are a different achievements but I will see if I get them for free when I do the next campaign quest.

Since the achievements award them, it would probably be more effective to just level the class you want the sets for, acquire it for free, and then use the bronze they acquire on other cosmetics.

And then use the boosted xp from the cape, as well as knowledge of which quests to do, to get more class stuff unlocked fir free
