I think that’s because the 20th anniversary event is over and now the tokens are worthless.

I’m sorry this happened to you, but we knew they would go away, we got plenty of warnings

Check your Time Walking badges. They were to be converted 20 badges per 1 bronze. So your TW badges should have gone up roughly 27,640 plus whatever you had previously.
