Bronze Celebration Token Changes Incoming -- October 29

every blizzard boycott is one cgi cinematic away from being forgotten

NGL, while this is better than what we had, now it feels like too much bronze. Pretty much going to be able to get everything there is by the end without too much effort. Then what do you do next anniversary?

I feel like the best way to do it was to have a weekly cap on tokens and allow events to be repeated as often as you want. This would allow them to control how many tokens you get, but allow you to get them however you want.

I’m sure that after 20 years of metrics on player behavior, they really needed this one extra week to pin down the reward structure.

you cant expect much from wow players…they buy a AH mount to use in the main city…which already have a AH

this is worth the 5 sec from walking in and out for them or maybe they just want to feel special

wow is brainroot confirmed

Really? I’ve yet to have a single timewalking dungeon experience that was negative. Korraks however…kill me.

This, but you dont have to do all the pvp, you can skip the 2 from arena stuff. The total available this week was 53, then the 10 they added today from the clue stuff. I had 61.

Or we buy one to use in our favorite farming spot. Just because you see them in capitals doesn’t mean they aren’t being used elsewhere. Smh

Break glass in case of emergency.

Sitting on the new bruto in Valdrakken running some stuff on the AH
in Valdrakken

literally the thread bellow this one

these people are real

Surprised this didn’t take til the last 2 weeks
I will say whats the point of the PTR if these had to come though?
Thanks, anyways.

63 total available this week, so far

Absolutely love these changes!

I agree. I’m surprised this wasn’t two weeks from the end of the event, honestly.

They try to push things to the limit, figuring they can just make an adjustment if it turns out to be a misjudgment. In this expansion that has meant minimal rewards for maximal playtime in many cases. They are willing to experiment on the playerbase to find that sweet spot. The issue is that when they try to make something work and it turns out they seriously missed the mark, the warning signal is not forum complaints. It’s loss of subs and participation. Changing the rate at which players can earn tokens will keep some players playing, but only those who haven’t quit over this issue. The bad feelings linger on.

I noticed. I did it like 10x (leveling my army of toons, had 64 level 70s) I do have over 100k badges tho from before the event

I mean, I can appreciate the changes being made while also acknowledging that said changes should have been the baseline and criticizing them accordingly for their poor decisions.

That said…

Blizzard, do better. For the love of whatever patron deity you may or may not worship. We all benefit when you aren’t being ignorant to the issues of your player base.

These changes need to absolutely not be celebrated, it never should have gone live in the crap condition it was.

Earlier in the night I healed a Stratholme live side with a level 71 paladin wearing a grey trash main hand and a white belt with white pants while tanking.

Not really negative but… memorable and stressful. :frowning:

Because they literally don’t hire people to test the content before release anymore, they just push it out and get the playerbase to test it for them for free AND get paid for making us do it

They literally don’t have people that test anything anymore, just like no actual GMs anymore either
