Discouraged about ever being able to find broken tooth in badlands…is 1.0 really that much better than 1.2 Swamp Jaguar or the Worg form SFK?
1.0 is pretty insane for pvp cast pushback.
Yes
Should be nerfed tbh. As a wolf lover i dislike how every wolf is nerfed yet Broken Tooth remains with his special qualities. blizzard pls
boars better for pvp anyways
Yes. It is .2 better.
When a TBC server comes out you’ll get your wish. Yay for homogenization, I guess…
Either every family gets special pets or none do.
Hunters: when i see broken tooth, you get sheeped and i kill your pet.
Not while he’s big and red.
No, it’s not that great. It’s better yes, but not by much. Boar is probably the best pet for the charge lock.
Did spiders have the web ability in vanilla? I feel like this would be better for a pvp pet than a boar if they did.
No they did not.
Most people wouldn’t bother spending hours trying to get Brokentooth if he wasn’t significantly better than most of the other pet options in the game. So, the easy answer is yes, 1.0 attack speed is much, much better than 1.2. Brokentooth is effectively 20% better at pushback than other pets, which kind of speaks for itself.
I don’t get it. Do pets have perma death in Classic?
Forum posters: crushing other’s enjoyment since '05.
It’s just annoying to res and feed when people go out of their way to merc your pet.
I liked this guys information, scroll allllllllllllll the way to the bottom to the conclusion.

Shots fired.
Edit: Brokentooth gives you 20% faster pushback against casters than any other pet besides the ZG bat. Considering that there are approx eleventy billion Undead Warlocks this time around you can bet I’ll be setting alarms and camping out in the tent city that will be his spawn point. Against anything other than casters, however, he’s just another cat.
1.0 vs 1.2 is not that significant
I went all the way to rank 14 and had no problems pvp’ing with The Rake, 1.2 attack speed cat in vanilla
Which I plan to do again, minus the r14 part
