Just an observation:
It’s much more difficult to track Broken Tooth’s spawn timer when there’s 9 layers going that can come/go at any given time. Badlands isn’t always on the layer maps for each of them, and also gets removed/added to layers as needed.
This makes it more or less futile to keep track of his spawn timer.
You might see him tamed/killed on layer 1, but this morning Badlands wasn’t on layer 1 6 hours later… Then it was re-added at about 7 hours, but I am not sure if that messes up the timers…
Either way… Random layering is a thing on crusader strike badlands.
I’m still going to tame it… Just… Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a better way to do it than to just stand there as long as you can tolerate it. Tracking the spawn timer doesn’t seem reliable
It would be amazing if there was another 1.0 attack speed cat added for SOD. But, I am sure they’d rather keep him ‘rare’.
Though… Let’s be honest. He’s not rare
Everyone ends up with him eventually.
It’s just a line with a long wait.
Good luck to all the other hunters out there! Stay off my layer

Isn’t broken tooth bad in SOD? For pvp you want a 2.0 cat for max prowl damage and for PvE lone wolf is the top DPS.
Yea for SOD brokentooth is pretty much garbo.
In regular vanilla when classes actually had to CAST, it was good.
But sod, all spells are instant. Or classes have runes to prevent push back or make spells instant. In what scenario can you think of that any class would sit and cast anything?
Not everyone. I sure don’t care about a 1.0 attack speed cat.

i spent about an hour of eagle eyeing the zone once i hit 37 and thought this is just dumb, yes 1.0 atk speed is god tier vs casters but honestly im too old to pvp anymore so its just a novality. I went back to questing with my rake and hit 38.
gotta love it how when you make a reasonable post the main people to reply just spew garbage and lies to try to counter argument you for literally no good reason.

I mean everyone is getting 2-3 shot.
Is pushback really that useful?
its for the same reason a lot of people prefer zg bats over broken tooth because of screech. the .7 attack speed has a psychological effect on your opponent. makes them bound to mess up more. hard to focus with that noise in your ear. also 1.0 attack speed means you only need 3/5 frenzy which is extra points to spend elsewhere probably 6% more max hp. and that pushback means whenever your opponent does have to hard cast they’re going to have a bad time.

Soulless. I will never abandon my bro
no he is not bad, and never has been. The “experts” in here don’t know their head from their … Broken is best utilized in PvP, his attack speed (fastest in the game until ZG unless Blizz changes something) is a casters nightmare, he is also good in PvE, not the best option if you’re using meta builds (AKA melee hunters) but still very VERY good. The base dmg is the same regardless of his attack speed is why the “experts” in here say he’s not good because of flanking strike. With BM spec, the extra crit you give him thru talents means he crits more than a slower speed pet. On Classic Era I tested it vs a 2.0 same spec and build, and he did more dmg.
