Quest: The Head of Her Enemy (Horde)
Zone area: Zuldazar - The Slough
Did the entire quest chain up until I have to kill Gloomtail in the cave. Did that, turned that quest in, and received the follow-up final quest “The Head of Her Enemy” and the item “Offering of Gloomtail’s Head”. I then followed the NPCs along the path until they respawned, then continued along the path until reaching Irritable Maka’fon. The ‘ghost’ box is there where I’m supposed to put the Offering, and Witch Doctor Jangalar tells me to place the offering, but other than triggering the NPC to say something, walking up to the ghost box does nothing, there’s no gear icon when hovering over the ghost box, and clicking the Offering in my bags does nothing. Did the same quest on a different toon about a week ago with no problems. Several other people I have spoken to in the zone have had the same issue.

To add: I have dropped and reacquired the quest, reloaded the interface, relogged, and restarted the game client with no luck.

sigh. me too. everything you said. /reload. logged out, etc. doesn’t work.

damn really i came back after 20 years for this??? cant interact with anything, the dinosaur or the box/crate. time wasted…
Same, I cannot interact with the box to complete this quest. What a shame.
My friend and I just tried running this quest 6/3/22 @ 3:30PM EST same issue as described by Caritha.
Same issue here - the yellow box ghost/placeholder is not interactable.
Adding my voice to those affected.
JFC come back to the game after 8 years everything is simplified and babymode but the quests still dont work. probably only going to play this one month smdh
