So while we had some downtime waiting for DF, I decided I’d finally get my DH his class mount. I never finished the campaign with him, so I figured this would be a great time to do it.
Fast forward some 20 hours later. I just finished “A Hero’s Weapon” which is the 3rd artifact on your leggo weapon, this quest DID complete, I can verify by doing:
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(43412))
^^ this returns as True, meaning it was indeed completed, well for all the DH who know this big long quest line, the next step in the quest is “An Urgent Message”
This quest is initated by the CONSOLE not an NPC… so there’s no NPC to talk to and the CONSOLE isn’t “activated” / “enabled” for me to even touch it.
I’d camped, closed WoW, zones around, deleted my WTF folder, tried with all my addons disabled, and NOTHING… no trigger whatsoever. I submitted a ticket, but I won’t hold my breath. My last ticket about the necrolord final campaign 8/9 not registering as being done is STILL WAITING ON a response and that submitted 13 days ago.
To say I am disheartened/frustrated/annoyed is an understatement.
I don’t expect a quest so integral to the class campaign WHICH YOU MUST FINISH TO do your class mount quests, to be broken after this many years. Inexcusable.
I feel like all that effort doing the other 54 parts of this huge quest line, were a waste of time, to no fault of my own.
If anyone within blizzard can actually read this, and would like to try and help me, and get the trigger to activate so i can do this darn quest that’d be fabulous - feel free to privately message me and I’ll give you whatever information you need to assist.
