I’m seeing characters between levels 101 - 109 flying around in Broken Isles. Do we still have to complete a quest line or is this something you can purchase from a vendor now?

Coming in Shadowlands, everyone can fly in WoD and Legion, no pathfinder required.

You have to unlock the pathfinder achievements. Personally it is worthwhile, but rumor is that it will be unlocked for free in the next expansion so if you can wait it might be worthwhile.
Worth unlocking for the class mounts, IMO.
Most likely they are alts of people that have pathfinder.
A very long(2-3 weeks) achievement called Pathfinder, its acc-wide afterwards.
Not a rumor, but you WILL NOT get the pathfinder mount for free.
Nope, not for free, but you can learn it from the flightmasters just like with the pre-wod flying days

Yup! WoD, Legion, and BFA’s pathfinder mounts/legion class mounts require pathfinder done. All you’ll be getting is flying w/o pathfinder.
