Ah okay I gotchu now.

Nah you weren’t rude but as someone with a terminal case of “correcting people” I have learned in my 30-odd years there are a lot of people who really don’t like being corrected. A gkick seems pretty silly though.

Also I think you’re probably doing a no-no showing their names, might want to censor those out before a mod sees this.

Did you join a guild and immediately offer a correction for the spelling of the guilds name?
That would be considered rude or annoying to almost anyone.

If the first thing you do when joining a guild is make multiple remarks about the incorrect spelling …than yes you might be a Karen

Weird that you’d join and that’s the first thing you’d say. Also weird that they’d kick you since it wasn’t phrased in a rude way.

Public Enemys is the Guild’s name. I have been invited by them on several different toons. A smaller guild that runs Mythics. Since I have Healers and Tanks to work up, I figured it would be a good fit.

I said it jokingly and didn’t mean for it to come across otherwise.

I was trying to help them.

The guild name is a big reason to join a guild or not, and I informed them that it could be fixed and that I didn’t care if it stayed the same.

I didn’t join the build before because of the name. It sounds dumb.

Someone needed to say it. Maybe it will get them to fix the name. Or not.
