Bringing back removed Transmogs and Mounts

Let’s take it back to 2nd grade, guys.

Okay class, what’s the definition of content?

Content is defined as "what is inside or included in something". An example of content is beans inside of a jar. An example of content is the words inside a book.

maybe you should pay attention to the title and comprehend it then. the discussion’s not about removed quests and such.

ok then genius, how about putting it into use of the context we’re discussing?

many of these quests have removed transmogs and mounts actually nice try tho :+1: . Like I said pay attention a little more buddy

Lol that’s alright, I’ll let you have your argument, I just dropped by to correct you.

if they just removed the rewards, the quests are still available… content’s not removed, according to your statement.

Depends.

It can be :

  1. a state of satisfaction.
  2. a member of the British House of Lords who votes for a particular motion.
  3. the amount of a particular constituent occurring in a substance.
  4. the material dealt with in a speech, literary work, etc., as distinct from its form or style.

There are quite a few definitions.

When it comes to Video games, content is what we consider to be gameplay elements that the player can interact with. IE : Dungeons, Raids, Scenarios, Quests, Pet Battles.

The word to describe mounts, mog armor and weapons, pets, titles is Reward.

Maybe you should have listened more closely in class. I’ll give you an F for effort. Yes, you failed miserably.

school me, master… don’t run from a debate… i mean, unless that was all you had.

they remove the quests because the rewards were removed. do you know what correlation is? any logic in here?

BREAKING NEWS

The word content means something completely different in the context of videogames!

Exactly, Video games aren’t milk cartons, and thus the contents aren’t milk. Video game content is not a mount. A mount is a reward for doing the content.

ok, so get your hypothetical straight before you even decide on which route you’re gonna take… first the rewards were removed but not quests… now you’re saying quests removed because of. which hill you’re defending?

^ someone who gets it.

You can’t follow a basic conversation? I don’t get it? Entire questlines get removed for the sake of making the rewards behind them exclusive to the expansion. This in turn means that pivotal quest moments are now removed from the game alongside these rewards.

That simple enough for you to follow?

To be 100% fair, there’s no reason to remove the quest line.

They can simply remove the rewards and leave the story there.

lol. yeah, i’m done with you.

they could but they don’t. Blizzard seems to think that removing the rewards but leaving the quests in would be a bad design choice. Which then leaves parts of the story out of the game.

Looks like you are “running from a debate” like you said Shenny was. Kinda hypocritical.

Are we really going to deny that the MoP and WoD questlines aren’t massive parts of the story. Hell, the legendary ring for WoD is literally almost the entire story of WoD btw. If we are really trying to do that here. That is absurd.

Two legendarys and two prepatch events. Those are the quest and item combinations removed. Mage Tower is back with new rewards. There are no other stories that received limited time transmog that I recall.

And the issue for most is not the quest items, it is the challenge modes.

Let’s be real, these threads never ask to get the “quests” back. They want the rewards, and not really the unsuable rewards like the WoD ring, they want the CM sets, Elite PvP sets and mounts and Mage Tower exclusive weapons.

People don’t really seem to care about the quests all that much. 90% of WoW players I meet don’t even read the quest text.

That’s not how words work.

A videogame is a collection of content that you pay for and experience. A reward from doing content is as much of content as the content you did to get the reward. It’s all one big experience. It’s all content. Taking out a mount is removing a reward, a reward of content, in a much bigger collection of content. OMG IF I HAVE TO TYPE THE WORD CONTENT ONE MORE TIME.

Sorry, I’m not as much of a master debater as you are. slaps knee

I honestly just don’t…care I guess. I mean I’m arguing with two different people about what “content” is for Christ’s sake.

And I honestly wasn’t running away, I went to go get some milk, because that horrible analogy from earlier made me thirsty. :yum:
