This isn’t a request to bring back the cloak and rings themselves (although you should), this is about bringing the back actual questlines so we can experience the story.
Locking story behind FOMO is hands down one of the worst things that can happen in a video game.
At a minimum, the story/questline needs to be brought back into the game. Turn the rewards into trash if you must, but bring the quests back.
Not as worried about them locking story behind FOMO as I am them locking the story behind MOMO.
Agreed. Rewards for challenges like Mage Tower (the stories there were irrelevant) or AotC is one thing, but something like the WoD ring questline that’s fundamental to understanding the expansion’s story shouldn’t be removed.
I don’t even know how fundamental the MoP cloak was, since I didn’t play MoP so I never even got to start it.
Not sure if this was the mop cloak questline but I know the questline in the vale of pandaria was crucial to the storyline and was removed I had never even heard of the bell or mallet till I saw it in hearthstone and now so much more makes sense.
the cloak was real important. its funny i got it on horde side with a few toons only expansion i played all horde while my alli toons on 2 accounts i mainly play never got it. im all for having that kind of legendary system back not what we got now. ring was fun to.
Have to agree, the entire story was built around those chains.
And at this point, what does it matter if anyone gets the cloak?
This would also help Blizzard save face by actually giving a way for the folks that cant kill the world boss on the island to do so, as they promised but never followed through.
I never got to see the moment when Cordana betrayed us.
It would be nice not having the useless Ordos transmog show up on the BMAH ever again as well, if the cloak came back or the cloak requirement was removed.

You shouldn’t have to watch random youtuber videos from half a decade ago just to understand who people like Wrathion and Anduin are. Bring em back.
Everything ordos drops is from another source that isn’t BMAH
His alternative drops are from SoO
Nothing is necessary from Ordos you have other sources

That’s just silly. Why should you have to leave the game and go on YouTube to watch a moment you should able to experience in the game itself? That defeats the entire purpose of it.
We need them, why is the game always based on current expansion? Let people explore the game.
They also need to bring the story of the books and novels into the game.

I mean, If they decide to bring mage tower rewards back, bringing back unnattainable leggos and mop challange sets are kind of an obligation.

Mage Tower isn’t bringing back the original artifact skins it’s just recolors of tier armor
They can wait for MoP classic then
That is why I said “if”, there is a lot of people crying to bring the MT appearances back.
Or they could just put the questline back in. There is zero reason for them not to.
