I understand that Solo shuffle wasn’t available back in Cata days but it’s 2024 give the option to a lot of adults to play pvp and que up without depending on Other people’s Lives and schedules , it would probably bring life back to the game. if you have not notice arena activity in classic cataclysm its currently dead. and this would benefit upcoming expansions

To note, I’m not here gatekeeping your desires, but to be sure while I think there are some merits to the solo queue system, it wouldn’t get my vote for Classic. I’m not a huge fan of how it works really, but that’s besides the point.
There’s not a lot of active changes/development happening to Cata Classic, and this isn’t a minor thing that they could just “turn on.” I’d be happier to get skirmishes for Cata Classic than solo queues, but either way I don’t think it’s going to bring in additional numbers of players, and we already have people complaining about some current issues they think are bugs that haven’t been addressed since launch (or maybe earlier in the pTR).
Most people in retail enjoy Solo shuffle i don’t see how classic players wouldn’t enjoy it , or how it could be a disadvantage for the game, i play solo shuffle in retail and i find it more fun than waiting for hours in LFG looking for a team , myself despite having friends in classic cata i still found myself sitting in lfg for hours more than playing the actual game. so arguably solo shuffle would avoid people quitting the game. and it definitely would avoid people sitting in LFG FOR HOURS or days .

You could literally say the same thing about any Retail feature that Classic doesn’t have. Or about Retail versus Classic in general. And you’re right. Retail is all around just better in every possible way, objectively, measurably, and reasonably.
Yet some people prefer Classic, supposedly “Warts and all.” and yes, of course some people want Retail changes to be applied retroactively.
We can’t have everything everybody wants, because that’s just impossible (there are things that people disagree on — obviously), but we can play the version(s) of the game that have the things we want to experience.
Have you healed solo queues? Are you asking because you’ve been playing them in Retail and enjoy it so much you’d like that to be added to Classic? Or are you just imagining that it’s something you’d want?
Well first of all it was a feature added to retail after already been included in private servers such as Wrath in Warmane private server and cataclysm Whitemane private server if they did well enough with it i don’t see blizz servers doing otherwise , i don’t think you know so much about pvp . And I’m saying all this because i love pvp and i love arenas, but i hate when my friend’s aren’t around and i have to wait for couple of hours in LOOKING FOR GROUP to find people to play, rather than just click Solo que and play the game i pay for. and yes i could just go to retail and que solo, but classic cataclysm its a lot more fun but on the other hand it just takes too much effort to play it though
I probably don’t, but I have more than 1500 solo queue rounds played this season in Retail, and in Classic have regularly been at least over 2K in 2s and 3s on the characters I play.
Regardless, that’s not the question is it. And it’s not what we’re talking about. I’m not the person you need to convince as to whether solo queues should be added to Cata Classic. My vote is no, regardless, and I’d much rather see skirmishes added, but I know that’s not happening either.
The question I’ve asked you is whether you have been healing solo shuffles in Retail and if that’s why you are asking, or if you are just guessing that it’s something you might like.

i have not heal solo shuffle in retail, and its because i don’t play a healer i only play dps , and i can see how frustrating it can be for the healer , but i can promise you something is not as frustrating than sitting in LFG for hours , Plus healers get insta que pop in retail so yes they can complain about their dps being morons sure but at least they only have to wait 2 mins for a que to pop lol , us dps we have to wait 20 mins sometimes even more.
Great. And you want that system competing with other players for finding groups in Classic?
No thank you. *(but sure, if they added it, I’d play it lol – and probably enjoy it – but it is automation for lobby gaming, rather than MMO community building)

Solo que quick match in Heroes of the storm is great, I can log in and play what I want. I find it better to have the option of being able to play the game for the time I have rather than sitting in LFG hoping to get a game before I have to log out.
Solo Q is making me think about giving retail another chance.
