The zone music, which Blizzard is known for, sucks in Shadowlands.
It is objectively worse than the music in every expansion Brower composed for.
Bring him back or hire someone at least as talented.
This is unacceptable.

Don’t bring back Russell Westbrook.
Is this a sports man?
Too late for the Lakers. They’re regreting that trade.
did he make BFA musics ?
I don’t think I’ve played with sound on since Wrath
For BFA, he’s credited for “Real Time Cutscenes.”
I love the Night Fae music. It sparks that emotional response I used to get from entering Org and hearing the drums start pounding.
If I’m gonna play WoW music, it’s going to be the olde stuff like Grizzly, Howling Fjord, HFP, Elywnn, etc
Russell Brower composed all of those.
Then I’m very impressed or maybe it’s my nostalgia feels
Yeah, I noticed music wasn’t as good. It’s still okay but… doesn’t feel like anything special? Don’t know but it doesn’t feel as catchy from before. I think this is the first time I don’t like any music from the expac.
Russell Brower will be leading the bard class soon, don’t worry!
WoW has music?
While we’re making requests to bring back old composers, Matt Uelmen would be a welcome addition back onto the team as well, that dude IS Diablo.
(Haha I just commented about this on another thread.)
The music felt immediately “off” upon diving into Shadowlands. There are very few environments that are musically memorable, Ardenweald and Revendreth have a few segments, which is a drastic change from the preceding expansions.
At first I thought my music volume slider was really low, so nothing was coming through. Nope, just incredibly vacant, atmospheric noise.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thought this.
