The legion class hall sets are also missing the special effects that wearing the challenge mode sets have. No fire spewing out of the totems on the shaman set for example. They are recolours, but lacking a lot of flare thats been pruned.

For Priest at least, the main difference is in the shoulders and the color. I think every other aspect of the set is visually the same, which puts the two even closer together than the typical difference between mythic and non-mythic raid sets of the time. 
But yeah, even when it comes to things like mythic raid sets Iāve always still called them ārecolorsā in my head, even when itās not technically the case.
yeah. at least blizzard still has principles and sees value in long time players and letting them have their thing
