They’re scaled down versions inspired by the CM sets.
Nobody is arguing that they aren’t similar, but it is simply not accurate to call them recolors.

well i mean we did get an interview from ion about how theyre changing gears and changing their design philosophy a month or two ago. there’s nothing preventing them from bringing them back aside from a deluge of tears from people who would still stay subbed to the game

there is different philosophies though
there are “valuing players who did that then” philosophy
they are redesigns, Like how the Tomb gear is HD upscaled BC gear. (excluding mythic versions those are new.)
A Recolor is the same Set all pieces are THE same not texture but Model wise but using a different color pallet. ie (BCs, Mask of Pennance set is Pally T2 but Purple, and I like purple.)
If you recognize the names of players and how ‘pervasive’ their trolling is, then you may need to go outside.

to make something a new or different color, or to make something a particular color again
