I suspect Blizz would not have the resources to tune the Challenge Mode to make them as comparable an achievement for this end-of-expansion WoW Remix.

Temple of the Jade Serpent was extensively reworked (redesigned boss…changed mechanics with trash mobs) to make it fit as an M+ dungeon, and tbh they weren’t all that successful there. I’d imagine each Challenge Mode would need at least as much work to bring them up to par.

The precedent for a recolor of a challenge-based transmog set was set with Mage Tower, but I don’t think anyone would argue that current Mage Tower (especially during SLs) was easier than old Mage Tower by the end of Legion.

But if do eventually make CM recolors available I would prefer it were part of an evergreen feature. There is a lot of expansion specific content (CMs, Highmaul Coliseum, Warfronts) with mogs and rewards locked behind them that are impossible or difficult to access currently. Doing the work of modernizing them and making them evergreen would make for fun ways to pass the time.

I have the Paladin and Monk sets and wish they’d come out with recolors for them all. Easily some of the best sets in the game.
