So i understand that Demon Hunters have meta now, but is there any way you can bring it back into the game for demonology warlocks just rename it? We looked nothing like how DH’s look in meta and it gave Demo locks a nice solid play style. I do like the ability of having a lot of demons out at once but i do miss being able to pop in and out of meta form. So with that being said if you guys can take it into consideration of bringing that ability back into the game for Warlocks just rework it that would be amazing.

I have been asking for this for awhile my friend. Could just replace the Tyrant for this. Have meta be the 3 min CD and give the same ability as tyrant and maybe boost your damage a tad to replace the tyrants damage

I think demo locks already had an awesome redesign for BFA, they just need dmg buffs.

What they could do is bring demo leap back. Have the lock turn into meta for a second and perform the leap, when he hits the ground he reverts back to caster.
Gives a little bit of meta flavor back, and gives demo much needed mobility.

Meta stance dancing play style can stay gone.
This new version of demo is extremely nice to play, feels great, and it’s theme is definitely visible, and it’s damage is high.
Realistically the only way I see our metamorph coming back, is in the form of Cata, where it’s a CD that amplifies damage based on mastery, aswell as acting as a defensive tool.
As it stands the spec is great as it is, and asking for a revamp backwards is asking for something that will never happen.
Instead ask for Something that while unlikely, at least is on the spectrum of things that could happen, like receiving metamorph as it’s Wrath and cata iterations.

i mean i get that, and yeah the stance dancing was a pain but that play style in my opinion was a lot more fun and you looked super sick while doing it like you said even if they dont bring stance dancing back at least bring meta back as a whole i wouldn’t mind if they gave it a CD i just want that ability back i mean look how much they’ve crapped on demo since MoP they took away countless abilities or made them useless for example

like nothing is the same and i’m sure i’m not the only one who misses that play style.
Why meta?
I just want my demo locks to be decent on movement intense encounters.

i made my warlock (demonology) my main in legion AFTER they got rid of meta. if they brought it back i would probably switch to my ele shaman for a main. i hated it. i loved my warlock despite it. some people just don’t like change. and that’s where this whining stems from. demo is extremely fun and fluid right now. and several talents are now good that i’ve wanted to play since the start of the expansion. it’s a great time to be a demo warlock. we don’t need meta at all. and i’m glad it’s gone.

Meta was boring. It was basically demon version of balance druid.
Demonology is a good spec right now, it just needs some good % tweaks.
It has decent ST, decent cleave, LOL-good AoE. It has a good rotation that I enjoy. The only thing I could ask for, other than a bit more damage, is a good way to maintain damage while moving.

Demo doesn’t need more damage at the moment with how they are performing in Uldir. I’d just like a little more spread cleave and an interrupt in the next tier.

I personally wouldn’t want to see meta back as it really didn’t fit the spec, but if it did come back, this (I think) would be the best way to have it done. Perhaps as a talent. But basically what Turtlesrock said. It should boost your pets more than yourself, that’s the whole summoner’s deal, along with a small boost for yourself to make up for the loss of tyrant’s dps.
Personally I’d still prefer the tyrant but it’s a solid option that both keeps the theme of the spec, and would make those who just want the demon animation back happy.
