I know that many people are out spoken about their opposition to layering. However I think the positives of layering far surpass the negatives. Having more ore, herbs, and world bosses killed each week is not that big of a deal to me. But having a 4k long log in q at 8pm on a Wednesday night does. Classic WOW wasn’t designed to have so many people on each realm and I don’t think layering ruins the game, it makes it playable in many instances. I don’t care if there are log in q’s just so long as they are reasonable, like 30 min to an hour. Arguments that i do not think out weight the impact that layering has on the game: just change realms, reroll, suck it up this is classic.
Dude, just change realms or re-roll or something. Suck up it up, this is classic.
Vanilla didn’t have layers, we are at final form. #Nochanges
Whitemane, for example, was layered, and without there’s a massive queue. With all the people there are now it feels like a good amount for finding groups and what not. Never does any area feel anything close to overcrowded. Instead of hard capping at whatever the threshold is now, why not remove the layer and just increase the number of people who can be on?
Time to transfer and stop clinging into full realm or re roll
what about this , u gonna stop play WoW Classic? hm
I think mass PvP situations have shown the issue with simply expanding the player count over the server. The servers simply can’t handle the concentration of players in a single zone, especially when spell effects are going off.
Not even remotely.
While this is true, Vanilla did not have such a large capacity as our current ones.
I think this is just backlash though from them expecting Classic to fizzle and flop.
Surprise!
That’s gonna be a No from me dog
No.
Thanks for the input.
Hey man, thanks for your input. Helped a lot
You can’t just tell someone to change realms or re-roll when their entire guild is with them.
There shouldn’t have been layering to begin with. At risk of sounding antagonistic or edgy, if you like layering, Classic may not be the game for you in the long run. Just be patient, the queue times will lower as time goes on. Take advantage of them in the mean time to go for walks in the park, or to read a nice book, or play something else while you wait. After the 10k+ queue times we dealt with at launch, the 2k queues that high pop servers suffer from now feels like nothing in comparison.
You were never promised long term layering. You were warned this would happen. You were offered alternatives. You said no. You made your bed.
There is one Lord Kazzak and one Azuregos, no more, no less.
Right. Guilds that can raid are so hard to find!
NO
You were warned.
When layering is enabled:
“Get rid of layering ffs, We have ______ problem because of layering!”
When layering is removed:
“Bring layering back I have a queue now.”
So you don’t want phase 2 is what I am hearing on your server? Because you can’t have layering and world bosses it just doesn’t work that way.
