Some players literally were not alive when it was possible to get the darn thing. Attach them to dope quest lines/challenges. Not sure how i feel about the sets costing over 2 million gold to craft (granted its alot less than the nerds who farmed the BMAH). No items should be unattainable forever.

Or just bring back the original raids and let players farm those (and other since-removed items) from them.
Considering I spent less than 1/4 of that getting warrior T3, I’m OK with being a “nerd that farmed the BMAH”.

It’s weird looking at WoW from an enlightened perspective. Do any of the items matter truly? People have become so invested in bs they have lost touch with reality. None of this matters on a grand scale and the people who would be mad don’t even matter

Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian brought back with an effect similar to Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s rest (transform the wielder into a raven flying shapeshift instead of a dragon) that is both the on use effect and added to the mount collection tab would be cool.

I think the Atiesh should back as a Legendary Staff again for the Mages, Warlocks, and etc. It would be nice to have another legendary staff besides the blue dragon one.

they had the opportunity to stuff lore weapon xmogs into this time rift stuff but they just didn’t for whatever reason.
tons of people were hoping for a frostmourne mog in df (since we met the guy who made it) and got nothing
they did add hd gorehowl which was nice
shalamayne, corrupted ashbringer, etc
I think pvp elite sets and challenge mode sets ought to stay one time only. They were advertised as such.
But ashbringer and atiesh… these were stripped from the game, robbing anyone who would ever play after the dawn of Wrath from ever being able to have them. There was never any reason to gut them as it wasn’t in the original design plans. I agree with the OP!

no, only things that filthy casuals gatekeep can be given away for logging in, anything that the illustrius elite obtained and then can lord over the disgusting unwashed masses must never ever ever ever ever ever be avliable.
There are 4 Legendaries no longer obtainable. Two are weapons: Atiesh and Adonisus. I’m totally fine with the black Qiraji mount staying that way. The Talisman of Binding Shard has no xmog, so w/e.
Can we get these leggo xmogs (and corrupted Ashbringer) please? Even if we have to do a timewalking quest to unlock the xmog. Just something. I never was able to finish it sadly.

I’m hopeful that Blizzard has seen the lengths we will jump through to get old xmogs and take it further. I almost feel like the return of old Scholo and Naxx recipes was a test to see how we would react. Hopefully the results show them that not only is it worth it to players to put more of this content back in the game, but it’s also worth it to Blizzard for subscriptions and such.

Agreed. I even like the addition of the added mount, Valiance. That was fun to unlock. It’s obvious they can do it, and they’ll even add new cosmetics/mounts to the older content (or tied to it). I love Dragonwrath and all, but I’ve always to Atiesh lol.
Instead of this convoluted crap they did for t3, I wish they would have just brought back Naxx 40 in EPL.
They should never remove content.
And history shows they really don’t give a crap about people that drop millions of dollars on the BMAH.

That was a cool thing as well and I enjoyed unlocking that!
They explained why they did this with T3, and tbh, I felt it was fair. Otherwise players who did spend a lot on BMAH would be very upset to have dropped millions to only have it easy to get again. I’d love an easier way to get my T3 pieces I’m missing, but I’ve just made it a long-term project.
with Corrupted Ashbringer and Atiesh, there wasn’t a way to obtain them.
