Fel shards are good enough, I think.
What they need to do, is to put in the effort and fix the glyphs.
Call me crazy, but the glyphs are suppose to display the shards for all to see.
Why would i want to glyph floating shards just for myself?

Ditto, I spent a crapload of gold on those Fel Shards only for my friends to tell me they don’t see a thing.
It was really sad :c

The reason why they don’t bring a lot of stuff back is because they have an obsession of updating the animations of any old spells. It’s really annoying but it’s just the case with blizzard.
Maybe make it so friendlies can see your shards, but not enemies.
