Bringing back TITANFORGING would be the best thing to happen to this game since legion.
It would benefit us all if we would put the influencers opinions in the bottom feeders opinions because right now its all about the fans and people that actually play the game.

You’re right. There is a reason boosting has become so popular. But it’s not because of the reasons you stated, and Titanforging should never return.
The reason boosting has become so popular is because the game is bad enough that people would rather pay someone else to do content for them as opposed to suffer through it themselves. This is especially evident in the arena scene where people pay for deterministic boosting / gearing all the time because the system encourages that kind of behavior thanks to conquest ranks. Another failure on Blizzard’s end.
I think they should just make Warforging, going up to base mythic raid ilvl and stop there. This would be 252 this patch, so pieces of loot from this season could upgrade up to 252 and not more. If it’s mythic loot, it stays that way.
This way, none of the mythic raiders are worried that they can’t trade upgrades to their friends anymore or get better gear from normal. And mythic raid loot is still exclusive because the loot item levels on the last two bosses are raised. LFR becomes fun again, there are more than two normal groups at any given time. And M0 players have a long and rewarding progression path again.
I’m not a mythic raider. I hate forging. It ruined raid tiers for me. Why do people think this is a mythic raider problem. Forging was bad for the game as a whole.

Maybe titanforging ruined heroic raiding, but people still ran it for the achievements and guaranteed upgrades. Normal raiding had a purpose and so did LFR. Though, the poor reward quality in those difficulties could be solved by buffing LFR and normal loot by 10 and 7 item levels, respectively.
Yes. When I get my chestpiece I want to be happy about it. Not instantly disappointed that it didn’t forge. RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG does not make things exciting.
the diff between difficulties is 13. buff normal by 7 and it’s now 6. Do you think 6 ilvl only is significative when you see how much more difficult heroic is?
iirc, every tick of titanforging was a roll so you’d need like 6 consecutive good rolls on an item for it to roll to max tf. which was dumb.
I simply cannot change the way people think. It’s your decision to be upset with the lack of a bonus, after all, it’s likely that you reframed the situation such that the bonus was the standard and the standard was a deficit.
I wouldn’t be upset if they bring back warforging or titanforging.
I forget the expansion, maybe it was cata or MoP, but remember when we could “warforge” our own gear? that was nice
