I miss the old gear system where you used to get points from doing dungeons and stuff and then could use those points to buy specific pieces of gear. Now everything is rng and world quests, so boring!
That would require players making choices, which would lead to stupid people making wrong choices, which would lead to them having a disadvantage, which would lead to them crying in the corner (of the forums), which would lead to Blizzard pulling out their SJW trump card and taking away choices, so everyone can be happily the same.
damn now were here again, wanna cycle again ?
Please, because progression used to be a fun aspect of the game. I’m down for having fun, kinda fun, a little fun, bad, bfa bad, then repeat.
I prefer bad players being disadvantaged by making mistakes they could learn from, over good players being disadvantaged by just sheer luck.
Seriously. At least then I wouldn’t feel like the game is personally spiting me by having nothing but capes drop when i still have a 355 weapon.
Have to agree with this. As casual as I am now with the game there was a time I wasn’t. That system for me at least felt more rewarding.
agree that deterministic loot was far more rewarding
was actually fantastic being able to predict exactly when I would get gear, nothing boring about it at all
it is incredibly frustrating having a slot machine with zero dupe protection for loot - this system is only good for the devs
Bring back gear tokens.
If we dont get loot give us extra gold drop from bossrs blizzard!
I do too, but blizzard doesn’t.
