I hate the idea of things being removed to “preserve prestige”.
Nobody cares.
If other people being able to get the same thing you did more than four years after you got it really bothers you that much, then go achieve something in current content so it will be another four years before the peasants are walking around with it.

Only 18/36 here, but I wholeheartedly support bringing it back just so other people can have the chance to obtain them. They NEVER should have been removed in the first place, and the same goes for the MoP and WoD legendary questlines.
Arbitrarily removing rewards to make them “special” is a load of BS… and you know it.

I missed out on the Manascythe cause I wasn’t playing druid. Tragic, and I really like it.
Never bring back the Mage Tower. Explicitly labeled limited-time rewards must stay as such.

If they are not prestigious then why do you want them ? The game has hundred of easily obtainable weapons appearances.

I hate it when companies have limited-time/exclusive offers just make a quick buck and then turn around and reintroduce it somewhere else. This is one of the few things they explicitly said would be limited and I hope it stays that way.

Got all the artifacts I care about and I really could care less if ppl get the same artifacts for free now.
Removing stuff from a game that desperately need content - 5 months of the same 8.3 crap - is impossible to understand.

It’s a matter of principle.
Time-limited rewards are abuse of the FOMO concept.
Announcing it would be removed, even before it’s out, makes no difference.
The removal should have never been announced. With VERY few exceptions, anything announced for the game should remain in the game. Whenever something is removed, it should be explicitly because it is being replaced – things like the old world overhaul in Cata and Naxx in WotLK. And even in those cases, it can be argued that the old version should be accessible in some way; it was eventually the case with Classic coming out.

Life is time-limited. If there is something you want that bad then go get it, but FOMO isn’t a valid argument nor a good reason to want something.
