Why are these gone? I hate proc trinkets, and on use are even worse. I currently have the Alchemy stone and…Incandescent star - the worst trinket to manage. Its like some kind of cruel joke having a group of people that need to stand separate from everyone. Stacking? Bye bye crit cap for 30 seconds…

no tier sets, trinkets are weird…
I wouldn’t use incandecent sliver. It’s one of those that look good on paper but in reality will see less than optimal performance due to raid mechanics.
Please send a note to trinket design people to do a simple trinket (or two - gasp) in each tier for every type of player. Examples of trinkets that I’ve liked: Althor’s Abacus (ICC - int proc random smart heal), anything that is int static secondary stat or two, the ToC25 healer trinket (when it was int stacking mp5 - I’ve only seen it drop once and didn’t get it), the Sinestra trinket (int - on use mana cost reduction). If you want to make me drool, int - on use sprint ability would allow me to check out the other talents other than feathers - a playstyle changing trinket, that I would seriously enjoy.
Incandescent star changes playstyle, yes, but by making people had each other and have to track who will yell at them if you pass by them in a raid… whee… that’s no fun.
