Bring back % rewards for Midnight

Imagine thinking a % base system isnt better the blizzard hard capping mmr like the start of this season.

They need to do it now. They should of done it 3 years ago in shadowlands after s2 showed the biggest disparity in mmr ever had in this game.

Yeah it sucks either way.

On one hand, people push % rewards at the end of the season and HAVE to keep pushing since it keeps inflating, what if someone has a trip planned that falls on the last week or so of the season?

hard cutoffs and consistency would at least let people get their rewards and let the sweats push for their R1 titles while keeping a consistent skill defining rating every season. You won’t have multiple seasons of people hitting 2400, then wondering why they can’t get past 1900 the next season.

Blizz has done nothing but screw the pooch when it comes to their mmr locking and inflation. It hurts everyone and makes a lot of people quit quickly.

Seasons can never really be equal

Even if mmr was somehow exactly the same there’s just playing the comp that’s +300 mmr like bm/rdruid in 2s or whatever

This is fine, if there are enough rewards and the game is fun the entire rest of the season will have enough people just playing to have fun or farm xmorgs/enchants/tabards and elite stuff.

It is fine having a mount and titles something you push for at the end of the season.

This is where the disconnect between players and blizzard are.

I would like to see something where each bracket has individual 2400 mounts. Then each bracket has a % based mount at the end of the season similar to achieving R1. Also adding something each season like KSM where you get 2k in each bracket, you get a unique mount.

Then seeing different unique elite sets for each bracket or something similar.

This would spread people across brackets and keep people playing imo.

Of course, the pvp intern wouldn’t know how to implement this and the art teams 1 day they spend of recolors can’t handle this.

Removing % titles from glad was a genie in the bottle. Once its uncapped, you can’t put it back in.

I mean this literally, but no one with a title pre-change was happy w/changing it to 2400+ cutoff. All of these issues were brought up endlessly, and Blizzard decided to do it anyway. It boosted participation for a bit, but as is true in every single season, patch and expansion, Blizzard can not introduce anything without it being grossly neglected and half thought out.

Glad should never have changed, and people upset that they couldn’t get one should’ve simply got better. Every unfair advantage complained about was just cope for players who did not belong anywhere near that title.

Sounds a bit rude, but its entirely accurate. Gladiator was not some impossibility.

% rewards doesn’t mean end of season rewards, though doing so would require more work/upkeep then I’m willing to say blizz would do.

As i made the point before they can basically let the ladder settle which is usually around the time they uncap conquest and just have people start earning the rewards there to avoid the mid season low after the start of season high and end of season high.
