Because the people who want premades back aren’t playing for fun balanced BGs they want 100% win rates, max honor per hour, and zero downside. Just like the people who “love world pvp” don’t actually want back and forth close fights, they want easy free kills.
It’s the same attitude that ruins most hardcore pvp mmos (i.e. Darkfall). When people say they like it, what they mean is they like punching down and winning 100% of the time. Which is only enjoyable for 1 side, the other stops playing. And the totem pole gets smaller and smaller until nobody is left playing.

I agree the change is bad. I barely ever went against a premade and when I did I would win 1/10.

That isn’t true because not every match while in a premade was against a pug there were also games that were premade vs premade and that was fun too… its more fun when you are doing bgs and your not in a toxic pug chat group complaining instead of working as a team.

That is part of your problem. You make too many assumptions about people you do not even know.
That is unless you have personally surveyed every TBCC player and asked them if they play both the Horde and Alliance. Otherwise it an assumption based on no information.
Wait so when you premade you only get pugs? first of all anyone that is solo queing can also make a group or find a group to join… you also get premade vs premade sometimes as well…
Premades need to come back. The entire premise of wow, what makes it fun, is community. This is why we form guilds, and raid as a unit. We used to PVP as a unit, and it was fun. Now it’s boring solo queue grind fest. Solo queue raiding is what killed retail. This max 5 nonsense is just more of the same. BGs aren’t fun anymore, and I’m literally only doing them because I’m forced to to get pvp gear for arenas, which are team play, and actually fun.

No way, I’m at right around a 50% winrate for the first time in…ever in classic. It’s actually pretty well balanced. How are you not loving these even matches?
