I personally enjoyed using old gear sets for time walking. current gear will always be less fun than trinkets or weapons from previous expansions.
Go a step further and also allow us to use shadowlands abilities. Everyone will enjoy the content more while being overpowered.
I just want the Timewalking currency nerf reverted. Adding 2-3 pages of 2000-5000 cost items isn’t just a grind, that is a life long grind with TONS of alts! Just a small sum of ~35-40K tokens per expansion TW!
Timewalking is trash now. It’s too annoying for the armor it rewards. The thing that made it fun was using old gear and having it be better.
I enjoyed being able to play fistweaver without fear of being one-shot by an interrupt while I’m not even casting.
That was fun times.
are you referring to the classic timewalking vender (gives weekly classic timewalking quest) or is there another badge vendor? cuz i’m pretty sure those are what’s going to be available for classic timewalking weeks going forward after the anniversary is over.
The “benefit” of the change just made the whole thing feel bad imo. I liked that it didnt really matter what gear i had. And if i really cared about it i could be op.
It still feels weird, and random stuff will nuke you like always. I dont get it.
Make a lvl 10, farm out some socket gear from tbc dungeons. Spam que timewalking dungeons and completely destroy everything.

I don’t plan to do anymore TW period. It’s not worth it for the low badges now.
One less tank in the queue 
I can’t stand how I can’t level easily in Timewalking anymore due to the weird scaling, and that’s most of the reason I do it. I’ve been yelled at for “bad tanking” more often in timewalking this patch than I ever have been yelled at, when I can see that the healer is barely moving my HP bar. And it’s probably not even their fault or mine :/.
Late reply, but each new TW event will have vendor update with 2-3 pages of new items. This week we see BC and you need close to 40,000 just for new BC rewards.
While it didnt feel too different… the mana tombs mobs that instant charge you one shot me yesterday. Made me ragequit the game because made me lose exp buffs. Some things are still one shotting and that needs to stop.
It was “great” watching me and a party member get one shot by a boss for the 40+ million health we don’t have.
Either that or upscale the old gear ONLY for the TW dungeons.
Despite my criticisms of that expansion, those covenant abilities were amazing.
Ah. Well I don’t pay attention to tw vendors as I find no value in what they offer, save for maybe the mount from wrath, but I have already obtained that.

Everything about TW was better before… now, my heals scale down for under leveled players and heal for about nothing.
