They better bring it back and make it a new rez version. I dont care about their pet shape thing. Druid pets have different shape and yet I know it a pet and what it does. No excuse to remove it

It’s such a dumb reason to remove it too. It’s been in the game for 10 years, if players don’t know what an observer can do by now there’s no helping them.
For those who did the Warlock Greenfire quest, Observers are honestly one of the cooler pets, and my personal fav JUSt for the dialogue you get when interrogating them.

I heard about the news, and I swear, the devs are Warlock haters. Ever since we were at our best in MoP, we’ve been hated to never return.

I mean it start with that. Then its the the Shivarra , the voidlord , the wrathguard. Cause they arent the same as the original pet. Its such nonesense. If they do that and dont offer alternative they gonna get such backlash

And yet here we are, with Hunters that have 2936154065981342 different pet types and colours and dozens of completely different abilities they can use.
But a single demon model swap is too much.

It is too much. There are so many things in the game, it’s hard to keep everything straight. Jeez, half the time I think the pet I have out is some NPC just following me around for some reason. We need to keep this simple for people.

If you’re being genuine, then perhaps a game that’s 20 years old with 9 expansions worth of content isn’t one you should be playing. vToo much for peoples’ lil’ brains

This could so just be fixed by having the Observer be a option to pick if you’re looking at a customization menu for the fel hunter. Like when you pick the raid dragon appearances if you have it.

Ill tell you all a secret. i know why they really removing the observer, or at least oart of the reason.
It’s because people are confusing your call Observer with your Observer pet. In a competitive game that could be the difference between life and death. Wouldn’t want to make enemy teams think.
Meaning, I guess, that the Observer is going to be an Aff only pet/summons like the Inferno is a Destro only pet/summons now.
I dont know where that logic came from because observer is a glyph for all locks and call observer is also for all locks soooo where u going with this??
Can we also bring back his super cool spell lock swirly laser? I was so sad when they removed that. It was awesome

Warlocks are seriously the most maligned, most ill-treated class in the game.
They give us unique Burning Crusade demon pet options to talent into, only to take them away and relegate them to cosmetic “glyphs.”
Death Knights come around, and we lose Death Coil.
Demon Hunters come around, and we lose Metamorphosis.
They give us permanent Doomguard and Infernal pets, but later say “uh nevermind” and take them away.
By rights they should just leave the Observer in the game. More to the point, we should have the option to be able to summon any of our available pet models – imp, fel imp, voidwalker, voidlord, felhunter, observer, felguard, wrathguard, succubus, incubus, shivarra, doomguard or infernal – as we like, because we live in a world where Hunters have 20 pages’ worth of pets in the stable master and warlock pets just keep getting pruned away (for reasons which no reasonable warlock player will ever be able to understand or greet with anything other than abject disappointment).
And this sucks because, in Dragonflight, I was starting to find I had very little about the game to complain about anymore. Maybe that’s it! Maybe Blizz noticed people weren’t as unhappy as they were in Shadowlands, and is just trying to keep us on our toes?..
