I’ve never understood people like this. If you don’t like how guilds do something, then don’t join them. If EVERY guild does it that way, then OBVIOUSLY it works.

Top notch insight into the raiding community from a dude who…Doesn’t raid?
If enough people are driven away by a “bad loot council” (see: the loot council is actually bad and not just bad because you really wanted that trinket but someone else got it), then that guild will no longer function.
Recruitment boss is harder than any CE, and continuously losing raiders because of poor leadership is the best way for your guild to get cannibalized by another guild that doesn’t have nearly the same leadership problems.

Yeah, no, it’s not. Suck it up would imply staying in the same guild while they screw you over on loot.

- You don’t get to make decisions with your loot, the system does. And if it doesn’t and you CAN trade loot the guild can still decide who you give it to, simply by removing your butt if you refuse.
- This isn’t all about you buddy.

Personal Loot is not a personal decision. It is the game randomly deciding if you get an item or not. You aren’t making a decision, adult or otherwise, to get or not get loot with PL enabled.

Incorrect. Staying is the only form of “sucking it up.” Leaving would be giving the middle finger to the guy screwing you over. I’m not sure how you can be trapped with a polarized choice when you still have the choice. Not only that, you are being incredibly selfish to your guild, that probably would use ML, just because you want to do things YOUR way.
