Pretty hard to kill bosses when everyone has left your guild but best of luck to you 
This is my favorite argument. Like every GM in the game just holds 20 other people hostage and wonât let them leave. Or abusive guilds were so rampant that there was nowhere for anyone to go.
Meanwhile those of us who actually raided in Legion with master loot never had any issues somehow.

Who the heck wants to make effort in a video game, dude? You play a DH. Your class takes no effort at all. Every player in this game takes the path of least resistance. If Mythic raid gear dropped in M0 would you do it instead of a Mythic raid? Of course you would.
Thatâs what Iâm talking about with Master Loot. There are people who exploit. Iâve exploited, youâve exploited. Every player has exploited it. You know why? Easy loot, easy control, and little to no repercussions.
What you Mythic raiders donât understand is that the average player has to deal with these people on a daily basis. Itâs not as easy as snap my fingers and Master Loot isnât exploitable at any time in the raid.
Not only that, dude. But, people would rather push content without getting any of the gear they deserve in hope that they can actually join a guild that will reward them.
I think everyone? A game that takes no effort isnât worth playing.
It did for all of Legion and most of BFA. Some people who never did mythic outside of the free bosses outgeared mythic raiders with CE by just doing M+.
Sounds like you are trying to justify your crummy behavior by saying âeveryone did it.â In fact, no, everyone did not do it. Thousands of guilds used the system with zero abuse for years.

Nope, Iâve never abused master loot. I was really worried about my server reputation back in the day, and didnât want to give my guild a bad name.

I hardly doubt that. No new player is concerned about making their server look good especially when servers werenât merged to play with others. As for guilds, sure. Youâve exploited Master Loot at one point another.

Of course. Gear doesnât matter to me. The fun is in killing the bosses that are hard. Players who donât raid ce donât seem to understand that for some reason.

And what non mythic raiders donât seem to understand is that in Mythic it is different. Iâll let you worry about your own community of players who want to exploit it and keep raiding mythic where its not a problem.

Whatâs fun about wiping on a boss 300 times because we couldnât kick the Guild Leaderâs GF out of the raid earlier because she couldnât pull her weight. Iâve experience mythic raiding. I know what itâs like, so please stop telling me Iâve never mythic raided.

You should. Then youâll get an idea of the time and effort it takes to start and maintain these guilds. And why nobody would be willing to risk throwing away all that time spent on a piece of loot.
