You realize timewalking does it automatically right?
I did stay subbed, and I got it on all my characters at the time. However, I’ve made new characters since then that are different classes than before. Everyone should have the chance to get it.

I never said it was, I’m just saying it scales automatically because you were making the dumb claim that they’d have to scale the tower manually every single patch. They could easily adjust the timewalking scaling mechanic to match the “difficulty” of the tower, it wouldn’t be hard in any way.
I want a new mage tower.
Awesome cosmetic stuff to chase gives me a reason to play.
Stats are transitory, Tmog is forever.
Dang, it’s like we now have to ask how that would affect the current gear if they bring back tier sets. Not to mention if you scale everyone down they’d be at Legion level of difficulty with no legendaries. Is the current class design going to present the exact same challenge with legendaries and artifact abilities essentially being gone? Will the core class design be enough? Will it be a different challenge? Is it fair to give the same reward for essentially a different challenge?
There are way too many variables to rely on scaling while also retaining it to be a proper challenge. In fact keeping it the same challenge from Legion

… Another one of these threads. Dude, this is just eye rolling at this point. No. No no no and no. Stop asking. As someone who did some of those challenges on multiple classes, bringing this back for people who didn’t get them, when everyone had plenty of time to, will be a huge slap in the face. NO. They were for Legion only. They’re not bringing them back. Did they bring the challenge rewards back for MoP and WoD? No. So they won’t for legion. Stop asking. Just stop. And yes, it WOULD piss me off.

I leveled every class that isn’t warrior, dk and paladin from level 1 to 110. I geared them all to full antorus gear and whatever legendaries I could get my hands on because I did it before the end of legion buff and being able to buy legendaries.
I woke up an hour early and went to bed 2 hours late everyday to gear up, learn specs and rotations. Never in my life did I think I would play survival hunter but I learned it and did the mage tower.
Hard work is rewarded and that’s that. They gave us a window of about a year to get it done. Not only that, at the end of legion they overpowered the artifact weapon to the point of ridiculousness where you could blunt force your way through the tower. That buff alone was ridiculous to those of us that put work in. I think that was too much but that was blizzards call so I live with it.
To bring the rewards back is absurd. If they want to bring the mage tower back as some sort of weekly challenge for gold or some other cosmetics that’s fine, but this here arms sword and my 28 other skins were hard earned and that’s that
The concept of Mage Tower added to Shadowlands? Sure.
Mage Tower from legion? Including rewards, etc.? No.
It’s good to have things expansion-exclusive because it makes it special for those who got it during that time.
Is it a case of “You shouldn’t get it because I got it during the limited time event”? No. It’s a case of “If they do this, what I got becomes completely devalued.”
If you don’t like that, well, mage tower isn’t coming back imo so doesn’t really matter, I guess.

OK so what you are saying makes no sense. I’ll give an example warlock green fire can it be obtained still? Yes. Did blizzard say it was offered for a limited time ? Yes.
Did i get an achievement and a title for completing it? Yes. Should warlocks who did it later than I did have it taken away so I can feel special? No! Basically it is all about ego … Why cant they get something that looks cool ? because it makes you feel like you did something for nothing? Welcome to WOW because blizzard has been giving stuff away forever… From most recently Giving flying to people in warlords and legion without having to earn pathfinder… Only a matter of time till they do this … So get your tissues out and a gallon of rocky road … Because your not special…

They are more prestigious because they have them and others can’t. It a war medal persay. So ya that makes it exactly that prestigious.
People dont understand unique rewards that do go away are needed most games have systems like this. Because it’s important to have people strive for them. Then on the same line people dont want blizzard and use the same looks and models. Its time for more unique challenging modes to be put for more unique rewards with better design. Im also someone who did cmode in mop on most classes i wish they’d give the cmode mop gold achievement players all the sets from mop like they did wod. But its oh well at this point.

Is not a challenge mode. So moot point. And only the title was said to be limited time, so you’re wrong. Poor example all around.
It’s about challenge modes being limited time and people getting a prestige reward from it. There are hundreds of other appearances and a bunch of others from the artifacts. This one will not make or break anyone.
Respect the decision, respect those who have it and move forward in life.

Ya know people seem to forget since vanilla there have been time limited rewards. An easy one I can think of is the BC pre patch tabard of the protector. Also what is your stance on them turning the cmode mop gold achive to being allowed for that account to just have all the sets like wod. I’d like to see your take on it.

The only ones that I 100% disagree with being exclusive are the feral and guardian forms. Druid fans have been asking for more options for years, and I’d like to see at least another recolor of those forms that can be obtained by everyone. Green fire is still available, a reskin of those druid forms should be.
