If you want to “bring Mage Tower back” – then give it different rewards. Legion Artifacts appearances should not make a return, though.

It was not prestigous when it was current content lol. Most people waited til the end of the expansion when they where stacked with gears and relics. At that point mage tower was easy as long as you knew your class and watched a video on the encounter so you knew what to do.

No, it shouldn’t come back and no I don’t have anything from it. I was around at the time and couldn’t be bothered to complete it. New stuff will be added just make sure to get it when it is.

prestige is in the eye of the coveter.

there are items which can be earned by simply logging in, which are deemed prestigious by the people who don’t have them.

Asked for what? The Mage Tower to come back? If yes then rightfully so. People need to let it go and ask for new challenges.

Stop talking.
I only earned the prot pally achievement (which was insanely difficult when it came out) and I don’t want the tower back.
I, like everyone else, had an entire year and when it ended, I didn’t lose of single shred of sleep over it.

Game issues: the tower is designed for Legion talents, class abilities, legendaries and the artefact weapon. It would have to totally reworked for BfA. Might as well make a NEW “tower” with new rewards.
Ask for that instead.

Now stop with the 5 year old temper tantrum and accept you will never get everything you want.

Tyrael’s Charger comes to mind. Pets from anniversaries. Old Republic’s random “thanks for being a sub for so long” gifts.

the appearances to be rewarded in a different way, or at least allow access to the alterate tints which do not require the tower while people who did the tower can keep their base appearances

If the prerequisite to get the other tints was to do the Mage Tower then thems the brakes. As for them being awarded in a different way I’m still going to say that it shouldn’t happen.

I’d rather they create a new challenge with new mogs attached to them.

Put them on the BMAH. Plenty of other “Limited time only” items are up there.

You’re basically saying you want people who exclusively will echo your sentiment instead of engaging in a meaningful conversation.
Regardless.
I want, well, most of the past Gladiator mounts. I’m not going to get them because they’re past gladiator mounts.
I also want to unlock them on my Enhancement Shaman and Arms Warrior, which I missed out on in Legion, but I should have did it then, and I’m fine with not having it now.
Quit whining about an expansion limited exclusive.
