Bring back Legion Mage Tower Artifacts

Un-retire all retired appearances, mounts, and pets. Yes, including all ranked PvP mount rewards and the Black Qiraji War Tank.

Retiring rewards is predatory. It makes people afraid to a) take breaks from the game and/or 2) not stay on top of the game to have a shot at time-limited exclusives. Nothing wrong with these rewards being extremely difficult to obtain. There’s a huge problem when they’re impossible.

This reward model was outdated the moment it was conceived. Let it be retired. Or let it become something outlawed as part of loot box legislation and other laws to curb the game industry’s predatory practices.

Are you a collector of things? Outside of WoW, do you enjoy collecting stuff at all?

Yes, I do. But my enjoyment collecting something is not predicated on someone else not being able to have and enjoy it either.

If anything, having something cool should make someone else go “That’s cool, I’d like to work on getting that too”

The mage tower is important to prove someone isn’t a FOTM’er who only rolled DK because of Shadowlands.

Let it fulfill its purpose.

You didn’t earn the appearances in the what, year or so you could, especially when blizz went through giving you MORE uptime, strong artifact weps, etc…

You just missed out. Get over it, really, Blizz would insult more people putting it back, than they would people being happy, and they need to be focusing on more things to do in a new expansion, not bring back old stuff.

I’m glad they’re gone. I only unlocked 5 of the appearances (across 3 characters), and on a couple of them I really struggled… and I’m proud that I completed them. To bring the challenges back now would make those feel a lot less special. I wish I’d completed more of them, sure, but… the ones I have are that much more precious to me as a result.

And, of course, the fact that these particular appearances are unavailable now doesn’t preclude similar “one chance only” things in the future. Blizzard (smartly) uses this kind of thing as a retention measure. FOMO.
