I think you’d see more artifact mogs if they weren’t spec locked. Like I would love to use the Arms tower appearance, but hate playing Arms. But the Fury appearance barely qualifies as being a sword, so I use something else.

I took a break and missed the Deathwing mount. It is what it is. Do I begrudge the people that stuck it out and got it? Not at all, glad to see people enjoying it.
That said, it wasn’t that hard to level all classes in Legion. I didn’t really start until Class mounts were announced and still got 30/36 Mage Tower appearances.
A bit of scaling isn’t going to result in an equitable experience. The gameplay experience was quite different at the time.
As mentioned, I’m all for bringing the Mage Tower back. But if you cannot create an equitable experience, you cannot have an equitable reward. Thus, different experience would require a different reward.

Because classes change expac to expac. Also because they were legions challenge mode. The challenge mode mogs/mounts from MoP and WoD aren’t coming back, and neither are the ones from legion.

You’re blowing this out of proportion. It definitely can be done. But they don’t even have to bring the mage tower back anyway. They could bring the skins back into Torghast.

There’s so many things wrong here. For starters, not everyone has the same life and time schedule. It’s assumptive that everyone wasn’t also dealing with RL things that may have prevented gameplay, or maybe hadn’t even started playing at that time. Maybe they -were- working on it and ran out of time before the deadline.
Stuff like green fire is still available in the game. Removing ANY content is frankly stupid, imo, since there is still the effort and challenge required to achieve it. People who did it early should get the same FoS like other stuff, but it’s entirely an ego e-peen thing otherwise.
Also, it’s a game. You can share your toys with other kids, and still enjoy them.

Late comer to the game and I will say not all that missed by me. But that’s me. I also have pursued a few balance of powers for classes, run them as mogs for a week and go yeah…time to change again.
Usually because I am spamming old raids and such and picking up new mogs almost daily in droves and go now I want this mog up now lol.

Which is exactly why I pointed out that the early folks got the Feat of Strength. Anyone who did the Mage Tower early should get that recognition, but should not prevent others from still completing the actual appearances.
There are no do overs in mage tower.
Promises were made.
People did the content based on those promises.
Promises should be honored.

The entitlement in these threads is just as bad though.
Perhaps they can work on not removing such things in the future, but there is no reason it needs to be added back.
I always use the sweet rogue Rapier’s and base my entire transmog to match them. On my paladin I always use the Flail for prot and my druid is always the neon blue kitty :-). So at least some people use them still
I feel what you’re saying in spirit but these people are asking that the Mage Tower comes back so they would still need to work for them. I don’t personally view that as entitlement.
