I didn’t like all of his design decisions, but I think he might be the one to do
Classic +
Wrath of the Lichking was his magnum opus. Cata was good but people complained too much and they switched design mid expansion.

Wrath was bad. Really bad.
I disagree.
Omar Gonzalez seems like he would be the one he knows what made classic classic
Oh yeah it so much fun, Trial of the Crusader anyone LOLWUT?
Never, ever going to happen.
TotC had some interesting fight designs for the time. The story was implemented nicely and set up for ICC. The only complaint I’d have is the reuse of Anub for the third time.
The outdoor zone gave a heavy Isle of Quel’Danas vibe and the jousting was fun for a it as they tried to implement vehicle combat.
What makes you think he wants to come back?
Who?
Greg Street. He now works at Riot, for the chinese.
he doesnt want to come back
Someone needs to interview him and ask this question
Wrath for raids wasnt bad if you take ToTC out. The only fight in there worth even trying for was doing Tribute to insanity with 25m heroic anub. Even then it was only challenging for the last 20%.
The way they handled Heroic modes in Ulduar was amazing. Getting the guild to stop dying while doing “25m Firefighter” was a pain. Algalon was amazing. Idk… i felt that Wrath raids were some of the best. I love TBC as my favorite version, but wrath was hated on a lot and im not sure why from a pve standpoint.
Classic + will never happen for the plain and simple fact that it’s too risky, and in a generation where everyone is offended by something, you’ll never make enough people happy with it. TBC Classic is a much safer, much easier path for blizzard to follow. For these reasons TBC will happen, Classic + will not.
Couldn’t agree more, and happy to do so.
I liked it up to ToC then it got bad. ICC even worse
I enjoyed TOC raids.
That whole experience was fun
I find it funny that for longest time everyone just trashed wrath as being casual garbage with rehashed raids and dumb vehicle mechanics. The only thing people liked was ulduar. Now all of the sudden wrath was the best expac ever. It’s funny how people’s minds change as time goes on.
Of course a Horde would have disagreed that WotLK was one of the best expansions since a lot of its story had Alliance connotations.
If they ever are out of the limelight, then it’s to momma Blizz they go.
He is employed else where and positive the last thing he would ever do is come back to get into blizzard and this communities pit of doom.
