There is absolutely no REASON to not have it at this point.

RMT is out of control.

Players who never RMT’d before are now RMTing, it’s rampant.

Mega servers with limited resources to player base is creating insane inflation on materials.

SR raids are more toxic than ever before, people leaving when their SR doesn’t drop, 0 commitment and a waste of time.

Guild are still guilds, nothing has changed there.

I’d love to see reasoning as to WHY we don’t have this play option at this point for players who want solid raids for their geared alts.

Don’t forget this part either. Blizz thought banning them would have some impact on RMT and bots.

Anyone thats played classic for a few years, have you noticed less of your friends/guildies/other players buying gold? Noticed any reduction in number of bots you see?

I’m 1000% convinced low effort posts like this are by people who aren’t even playing the same game, has to be. Literally the ONLY thing keeping Classic ERA servers active is - yep, you guessed it, GDKP!

Bringing back GDKP won’t solve any of the big problems on anniversary, if any at all. Ignoring the RMT angle of it (which certainly existed within it) whether you want it back or not is just subjective stance based on your personal playing preferences.

No one here is going to find any middle ground on this topic.

Are you saying no GDKP is reducing RMT? You must like living in your delusion, RMT is worse than ever before, players who relied on GDKP to fund the atrocious level of inflated mat costs are now swiping their cards. How is RMT worse than before GDKP removal? Your logic makes no sense.

Bring back gdkps make alts great again, prices for destro and or haste pots are getting crazy and if you raid on more then 1 toon you are looking at 300g per toon per week just on pots not even flasks

Super narrow take. You do realize, GDKP isn’t exclusive to SPENDING gold but making it as well as an alternative to - yep swiping your card. Players like me with geared, strong alts join GDKPs as a method to fund our raiding instead of paying IRL money, which is what we’re doing now.

Yes.

This is a logical fallacy. GDKPs will absolutely exasperate the RMT issue. You’re not convincing anyone with room temperature IQ.

This is an economic problem inherently part of the game. Blizzard should make adjustments to have better access to supply. (IE increased nodes, better rewards or badges incentives for mats, etc) GDKP is a band-aid to the underlying cause and will greatly deteriorate the problem ten fold.

how is SR a crapshow? there’s so many good “pug” discords where you can have a weekly spot. vet the good ones and you’ll easily find a group that clears in sub 3 hours.
