Why? We got that when there was no flying.
Completely agree. I maximize my time by leqning on flight masters. Accessing them more quickly would be ideal.
Because it’s incredibly nice when you just want to afk to go to the bathroom or kitchen to grab something.
It can also help you get unstuck without having to hearth.

Man I miss my whistle. No idea why Blizzard dropped it. My guess is it made too many people happy.

I guess. I either just fly to a safe spot or just log off since logging back in takes 15 seconds. /shrug
They dropped it in SL because apparently the way the zones were structured as separate continents spaced very far apart was causing issues (or so they claimed in an interview at one point.) Feels like BS to me, but I’m not a dev so who knows?
And then in DF and TWW it’s just wasn’t necessary any more, since flight is available from the start and nothing is more than a minute or two away in the first place.
The REAL question is, why haven’t they turned the whistle into a toy? Why is it still an inventory item even after they changed the Dal/Garrison hearthstones?
I still used it with flying. It’d get me a bit closer to somewhere I needed to be.
It is pretty nice.
The Delver Drone thing is also nice, but I wish it was reduced in timer to maybe 30 minutes.
Or have the timer reset after completing a +4 bountiful.
Youve got 20 different hearthstones and rings and cloaks and such.
