Deliberate malice was removed in the last build, would love to have it back. Either make it a choice node with something or replace pandemic invocation. It is such a feel good talent that helps with dot management.
Also move inevitable demise where the GoSac node is for Soul Rot.
And make GoSac worth it to take. Not spending a talent point on something that is a loss in dps by taking it.
I’m really personally not that upset with them removing DM considering how easy it is to get corruption and agony out on aoe now is.
Also They kept the 4 piece because in single target it actually interacts with the the new malefic affliction and dread touch nodes, unlike Deliberate malice. which is more of a aoe dot uptime management helper.
It’s strong to the point that it pushes StS out of the main aoe option, and that might not be the route they want to go.
Hopefully we see some option for dot extension make a return to make multi-target bosses less of a headache.
Yeah honestly that’s all really want from Deliberate malice is the dot extension for aoe, maybe bake it into one of the Sow the Seed Talents (there is already three of them, would hate to make a fourth).
It would make zero sense to put it on sow the seeds… your aoe spam is rapture not seeds and that would be uttlerly useless for single target.
The thing with dot extension is it’s not particularly needed for single target and it would make keeping dots up during aoe too easy to the point that it might overshadow sow the seeds as our aoe spender.
Doom Blossom looks like it could be made into a decent way to keep extension as part of 2-5 target fights (where it is the most needed) with a few changes to it. It might need a target cap on blossom, but if every rapture could trigger one that extended dots, it could give that talent a use case that it’s sorely lacking right now.
I wonder if they removed it because of the 25% damage boost it gave to MR. They can keep that part, I just want the dot refresh back.
100% agree. The dot refresh made the feel of the class exponentially better!
