Even if you’re killing those animals literally for the wellbeing of all the other animals? Like those winged serpents in northern Zuldazar that are invading the area and killing off all the other animals?

I think anytime you’re dealing with a Nesingwary camp you should be given the option to do D.E.H.T.A quests instead.
That’s some player agency right there.

Would a Tauren be comfortable eating an Impossible Burger?
We need some meatless meat memes in the next xpac.
There are no salads in WoW. All the foods have practically no fiber.
and there is no real way to gather food not made out of meat either.

Oh wow, that’s pretty sick. I don’t remember that quest. I always got annoyed whenever I flew over that damn world quest in Azsuna to gather bear livers and Prince Farondis would start talking about how this concoction will save his people. No. It won’t. It most definitely won’t, so stop asking.

I hate so many of them. There is a baby bear one too.
They really need to bring D.E.H.T.A. back as a farmable reputation… and give you alternate options to these horrible hunting quests.
I despised the Nesingwary quests in Legion. Ugh. He has a camp in Zandalar and I haven’t even gone there yet.

Oh wow! You just reminded me of a world quest in Highmountain where you help a tauren tame a bear. Here’s what he says to you in the beginning.
The bear in the cave up ahead has immense power. He has been terrorizing Thunder Totem for a long time. He is too grand to put down…
Player Character, I need you to help me weaken him so I can tame him. Will you help?"
Beastmaster Pao’lek was the Tauren and Arru was the bear he tamed.
That sorta thing was a bit of RP I had for the reasoning behind Thorland’s first pet. I imagined I tamed Ol’ Sooty instead of killing him. You end up doing more to protect your people than simply killing the animal.

Yeah. It’s crazy to me that you can have a game with Hunters since launch that have pets, and pet battles, that can be so cruel to animals.
I feel like the game constantly puts adorable baby critters under my warriors feet while he’s going nuts and smashing everything. Makes it hard to Warstomp.

OMG!! Yes!! I hate when I hear that unexpected chirp of death and I realize I killed an innocent little critter. 
I forget to go back there, cover myself in blood and see if they want to kill me now!!
I just did the D.E.H.T.A quests. They’re really fun! I feel good too, because i’m a worgen druid. It feels great to be helping animals instead of killing them (ignore me being a skinner and farming pigs at stonefield farm). At least I kill them in 1 hit and their suffering is ended. These guys trap them and stab them with dinky daggers like evil people!

You got rep for them by turning in xx ears at a time. Could you imagine a particularly entrepreneurial goblin selling ears to people for gold?
“Tired of killing mobs and taking those ears back to prove your worth? We know you’re far too busy for something like that. Especially with that RNG.
Let us do the dirty work for you!”
Underneath would be a price list for ears and other various body parts.
So where are they getting said ears if they aren’t actually killing the mobs for you? From volunteers.
“We will pay you xx gold pieces for your ears and promise to regenerate them back for you.”
I could imagine them paying more for races that are in high demands. Of course the profit end up being a great deal more and totally worth it. lol
