Wow is legit dying… no ilvl gap in pvp like wtf why even bother increasing 2v2 rating when you cant be op against noob who are full honor… make gear in pvp go back to rating. Now bring back corruption which was the best thing that ever happened to wow. Making pvper pve and pve pvp… df is trash. No borrowed power no grind just flat out boring. BRING BACK CORRUPTION i loved doing those nzoth run which u could corrupt gear and stuff. Game is dying

Atleast with corruption everyone that spent good amount of hours on their toon could be op. Now its too flat. Nothing to grind anymore. Game is boring af. Have 10 alts and wtf shall i do now 1800 to 2k rating blizz need to bring back borrowed power corruption would bring back a sh1t load of ppl let me tell you that sir atleast bring back gushing wound or op rng enchant

Looks like you may have hit the brick wall of WoW not being a replacement for existence.

If you have reached a point to where you can only play by having unfair advantages against other players, and can’t progress any further because you can’t increase your skill any further, then I believe, you have beat the game at this point.

Try doing the same thing on an alt, or many alts. That’s about as good as it’s going to get. They get a ton more subscriptions by making things equal than they ever did catering to less than 1% of players who can no-life themselves to being invincible.

I mean. Was it funny seeing tanks delete people with a 1 shot TD? Sure. Was it balanced? Lmao no. But I bet it was fun for the 1 shotters. For everyone else, it was terribad.

If you’re better than them, then being on an even playing field wouldn’t matter right?
If you are better than them regardless of gear, why would you need better gear than them if you’re going to beat them anyways?

As for corruption, it was an interesting system that had potential, but too many glaring flaws.

  1. no tie in with crafting
  2. no control about what corruption effect showed up when, at what rank and on what piece of gear.
  3. They were horrendously imbalanced in terms of damage output from one effect to the next. Some were :exploding_head: good and others were :expressionless:
  4. Not every class/spec had the toolkit to ~negate/counter/handle the bad effects which allowed some classes/specs an easier time at high corruptions whereas others struggled even with lower levels)

yeah that’s wierd to me also increasing my 2v2 arena rank… lets me use my pvp gear in pve…? and even at max rank it’s still not as good as pve gear for pve, so… why put that much effort into pvp to get something sub-par for pve?

Corruption was awesome. Now wow is too alt friendly and no grind no borrowed power zzz. Bring back corruption nzoth best patch ever

I will take a hard pass on corruption items. They were fine as an end of expansion feature, where Blizzard was too focused upon their next expansion to worry about class balance.

There was a Paladin who stacked an ungodly amount of corruption in arena and would try to kill the other team during bubble or basically lose. Was successful enough it got nerfed but it was pretty hilarious.
