For those that don’t know, back in classic through WotLK your character’s forum avatar was not generated from your armory, but rather from art preselected based upon your level. You can see examples (can’t post links here, but google “old wow forum avatars” for examples). It’d be awesome if we could have an option to view the forums in the old format too!

Forums are quite nice in their current state. One of the best forums imo

Completely agree. To be authentic even the forums have to be vanilla. #nochanges
I’d love to use either those avatars, or character portraits that actually look more like the original game models. Dwarf female has that bright orange they took away, and this gal’s face is just way too humanized compared to what troll females looked like.
