Bring back “Challenge Mode” rewards

Game is certainly lacking in the cosmetic area, wouldn’t mind seeing Challenge Modes make a return in the form of M+.

Introduce new Challenge Mode sets (cough, cough BfA needs some class sets still) that are unlocked similarly to how Challenge Modes worked in MoP/WoD except they’d be based on the key numbers #’s

Something along the lines of:
Bronze: Clear all dungeons in time while doing at least a 5 key.
Silver: Clear all dungeons in time while the key is at least an 10 key. (Mount)
Gold: Clear all dungeons in time while the key is at least a 15 key. (Cosmetic set, title)

EDIT: Gold dungeon ports :slight_smile:

Love the idea but don’t forget the port to dungeon entrances for each gold!

I completely agree on this. Having cosmetic armor sets with a bit of difficulty would give people something to strive for.

The lack of permanent rewards from M+ is definitely disappointing. Adding cosmetics like this would be a really good idea IMO.

Yup 100% agree would be nice to have some costemic things to work towards in mythic plus.

I never really got the chance to partake in challenge mode runs in WoD/MoP and I wish I had, would love to see something like this added into the game

Completely agree OP. Bringing in some new sets to actually entice people to do content would be great, and I’ll never argue against a mount. I think that’s what this expansion is thoroughly lacking, among other things of course.

Heh I got to do a couple in mop but the group I was running with decided it was too hard and they didn’t want to push further after two silvers. I swear I see so many Paladins running around with those gorgeous shoulders I’ll never have and I still cry over it. Still super salty they gave up… my server was too small to find others.

I feel this on a spiritual level. The people I wanted to do it with, frankly, sucked, at least the healer did. The tank and the rest of the DPS were on point, but the healer… jeez.

Which was really sad because she was a monk and they were so OP in Pandaria, but she just kept face pulling and standing in crap it was a mess. I don’t think we completed any of them in time to even get bronze, it was terrible.

That sucks :frowning: I was lucky enough to get my Cmodes done on my DK in MoP but missed the WoD weapons (regret it they were pretty lit). Hoping Blizzard puts in a similar system to make up for lack of class sets this expansion.

I also liked the mage one that I was trying to get the set on.

I kind of liked it when they integrated some of the pieces in the Class Order Hall set, but still they weren’t the same, you know?

Agreed, although I like the Cmode stuff being exclusive it at least they tried last expansion now they’re not even trying to be creative with sets lol. It’s really disheartening to look at every class with the same armor class using the same sets :frowning:

Oh, yah! That’s not saying that sets look bad, cause damn they’re pretty awesome (at least Dazar’lor is, Uldir’s set kind of… sucked) but I’d loooove having more variety.

I think the mythic sets look good but they took the lazy way out by making “one size fits all” with them. They could have, at the very least, made them have different colors so there were a slight difference between classes still lol.

I miss being excited to see what new tier sets/elite sets were coming with new PvE Tier/PvP season :frowning: now it’s just recolored “one size fits all” warfront sets for PvP elite + “one size fits all” mythic set for tiers.
