The game is so stale. Only raid loggers twitch streamers had problem with borrowed power cuz they actually don’t wanna play the game.
Rest of us only had problems with acquisition specifically for alts. We loved new exciting systems every patch that BFA brought.
DF is so stale and boring. Rare trinkets are boring and never drop. Classes are more complex than ever but also grounded at same time.
Bring back titanforging too it was fun only parse fiends and RWF raiders had a problem with it. Get rid of master loot.

Speak for yourself, please. Azerite Armor is one of the main reasons I quit BFA before the first patch and didn’t come back until Dragonflight promised no more borrowed power systems to grind.

I’m sorry bulb, you don’t speak on my behalf, I didn’t like that kind of power and I like having my power tied to my character and its gear, not to some entity connected to me.

If essences and heart of azeroth level were all instantly account bound, I think I would like it. So this is fair on my behalf. Additionally, the heart of Azeroth should have been capped at level 90 or so. I was not a fan of the kiss/curse part of corruptions and I also don’t like important bonuses that are applied to one piece of gear that might be replaced soon anyway. I think you should have been able to corrupt the slot not the piece (and same with tier set, you should “tier” the slot not the piece).
I also do not want to do questlines several times. Doing the questline for the legendary cloak on one character should let you skip the entire questline on every alt. And the legendary cloak rank and corruption resistance should have been instantly account bound.

Yea systems needed to be account wide. That was my only problem with them. Also the rep grind ones should have just been locked behind story quests instead. I enjoyed collecting rest of them.

I liked Azerite Armor, but i didnt like a neckpiece that was an infinite grind.
I dont know what borrowed power would get me.

While the end-season patch nutiness was comical, the game is healthier without that type of borrowed power
Unless the borrowed power is introduced with the same effort and balance like legion, it’s not needed

Don’t even need to bring back borrowed power, just bring back daily WQ and Emissaries the spawn every day.

Azerite gear was an overall terrible system
The necklace was okay
Corruption was actually pretty fun

Azerite gear was good imo apart from the whole getting upgrades that are downgrades part.
That got kind of annoying.
If it had abilities that matched the point your heart was at, that would have made it a good system.
My least favourite was corrupted gear as that was tied to the cloak and i hated that so much.
The essence system was alright. Didnt love it, didnt hate it.
